Our story
Why we do it differently
There is a version of roofing where the contractor shows up, gets the job done, and you never fully understand what was done to your home or why. Shingles go on, nails go in, a check changes hands, and you spend the next several years wondering whether you made the right call. Joey Roofing and Siding exists because that version of the trade is far too common, and because we decided that sucks.
Joey Brue grew up with roofing in his family. The company was established in 1983, Joey took over in 2022, and he rebranded it in 2025 to reflect what he believes about the trade: technical knowledge and real care for the homeowner aren't separate things. The contractor who knows the most about how a roof is built is the one best placed to protect you from decisions that don't serve you.
A homeowner who understands what a proper roofing system involves, what each part protects and what they're actually paying for can make a good decision and feel good about it afterward. That's the whole point of how we work.

Bare decking, checked by hand
Once the old roof is off, every sheet of decking is walked and inspected. Soft or delaminated wood gets photographed and you hear about it before it's replaced, not on the final invoice.

I’ve had Joey work with me on three different properties when I had concerns about possible hail and storm damage, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Joey was quick to respond, put my mind at ease, and did a full, detailed inspection of all three properties. He provided me with thorough reports that I could keep for my records and potentially use with insurance if a claim ever became necessary. What I appreciated most was that Joey was honest. He didn’t try to convince me that I had damage just to create a job for himself. In fact, there weren’t any major concerns that warranted an insurance claim. Instead, he gave me some helpful pointers on what to keep an eye on and even pointed out a few areas of concern from the original installation done by previous roofing companies. He also went above and beyond by covering exposed nails while he was there. Little things like that say a lot about the kind of person and contractor you’re dealing with. At this point, Joey is my “call this guy before I call anyone else” roofing guy. 😂 If you’re looking for someone who is responsive, knowledgeable, and actually gives you an honest opinion about what needs to be done, Joey is your guy. I’ll absolutely be contacting him again for any future roofing needs.
Joey roofing did an above and beyond job on my duplex. The process was easy, job done on time, and everything was very clear and informative. They made sure the job was done right, and seem to truly care about the quality of their work. As an investor it can be hard to find good people to work with. I'll be calling them in the future.
Joey came and inspected our gutters and gave us some recommendations to fix an installation issue caused from a different contractor. The professionalism and scheduling communication stood out. I would use this company again for sure

Joe was super knowledgeable and helpful with all the options for our roof, including giving us info on what we could do on our own. Really can't recommend him enough. It's great having a local guy you can trust.
