A roof replacement isn't just new shingles. It's a tear-off down to bare wood, an honest look at the decking underneath, and a full system built back up: ice and water shield, underlayment, flashing, ventilation, shingles and ridge cap.

How we handle roof replacement

On-roof inspection, not a driveway guess
We get on the roof and check shingles, flashing, pipe boots, the ridge and exposed decking edges, then the attic for ventilation and moisture. A recommendation made from the ground is a sales visit, not an inspection.

A scope built around your roof
We explain what we found and what it means. If the roof is repairable, we say so. If it needs replacing, we walk you through every line of the scope and what each part protects against.

Decking checked and photographed
Once the old roof is off, the deck is inspected. Soft spots and delaminated sheathing get photographed and you hear about any extra cost before we continue, not on the final invoice.

The full system, every layer
Ice and water shield at every eave and valley, synthetic underlayment across the field, shingles fastened to the manufacturer's spec, new flashing at every penetration and new pipe boots. Not a shingle swap.

Ventilation checked before we leave
Blocked soffit vents are a known cause of ice dams after a new roof. We confirm intake and exhaust are working so the roof performs through a Minnesota winter.

Cleanup and a walkthrough
Magnetic rollers sweep the lawn and driveway for nails. You walk the finished job with the same person who scoped it, and that person answers the phone afterward.
